Virendra Sehwag, an ace cricketer, introduced his sports training firm Cricuru on Wednesday, which aims to deliver cricket training to the masses via the internet. A circuit is an online cricket coaching website that offers a repository of video tutorials from top cricketers as well as an AI-powered tool for improving basic techniques.
The introduction comes at a time when many types of physical training have moved online, from gyms to dance and yoga. According to Sehwag, Cricuru will provide semi-professional cricket coaching to athletes in rural cities as well as those whose training has been halted owing to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak.
The circuit was built totally between October 2020 and February 2021, according to Sehwag, who collaborated with cricketer and former India Cricket Team Coach Sanjay Bangar. According to Bangar, Cricuru is India's first online cricket product, and it was inspired in part by MasterClass, a US education subscription company.
